Description
An elegant appetizer featuring melted brie and a tart cranberry reduction encased in a golden-brown puff pastry shell.

- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 6 oz brie cheese, cubed
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
- Simmer cranberries, maple syrup, and water in a pan for 8-10 minutes until thickened.
- Cut puff pastry into 2-inch discs and press into a mini-muffin tin.
- Bake empty shells at 400°F for 5 minutes to set.
- Place a cube of brie in each shell and top with a teaspoon of cranberry reduction.
- Brush pastry edges with beaten egg and sprinkle with thyme.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and bubbling.
