  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Olive oil spray
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1 inch.
  3. Set up three shallow dishes: one with seasoned flour, another with beaten egg, and the last with panko mixed with Parmesan and Italian seasoning.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with the panko mixture.
