- 3 Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for crumble)
- 4 tbsp cold butter, cubed
- 2 cups heavy cream, chilled
- 1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tsp vanilla bean paste
Instructions
- Sauté diced apples with 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon in butter until tender. Cool completely.
- Mix oats, flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and cold butter. Bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes until golden. Cool completely.
- Whip chilled heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold in condensed milk and vanilla bean paste until stiff.
- Press half of the cooled crumble into the bottom of a lined springform pan.
- Fold the chilled apples into half of the ice cream mixture and spread over the crumble layer.
- Top with the remaining plain ice cream and sprinkle the rest of the crumble on top.
- Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight before serving.
