Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 egg, beaten (for wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté diced chicken in a skillet until golden and cooked through; remove and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté onions and celery until translucent.
