Handheld sliders filled with a rich mixture of shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar, and bacon, served on buttery toasted buns.


Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1.5 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning powder
  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls)
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in a slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours until tender.
  2. Shred the cooked chicken using two forks into small pieces.
  3. Stir in cream cheese, shredded cheddar, ranch seasoning, and bacon bits until smooth and combined.
  4. Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  5. Spoon the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom buns and top with a little extra cheddar.
  6. Place the top buns on and brush with a mixture of melted butter and garlic powder.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes until buns are golden and cheese is melted.
