Description
A cool and creamy Mediterranean dip made with thick Greek yogurt, fresh cucumber, and garlic, served with warm, toasted pita bread.

- 2 cups thick Greek yogurt
- 1 English cucumber, grated and squeezed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 pita breads
Instructions
- Grate the cucumber and squeeze out all excess liquid using a kitchen towel.
- Combine Greek yogurt, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
- Fold in the squeezed cucumber and chopped fresh dill.
- Stir in the olive oil and salt until well combined.
- Warm pita breads in a lightly oiled skillet over medium-high heat until puffed and golden.
- Serve the chilled tzatziki with the warm pita bread on the side.
