A fusion appetizer featuring golden-fried wonton wrappers shaped into mini taco shells and filled with savory, seasoned ground chicken.

- 24 wonton wrappers
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Brown the ground chicken in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water, simmering until the liquid has reduced and the meat is coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F.
- Fry wonton wrappers one by one, using tongs to curve them into taco shapes, until golden brown (about 30 seconds).
- Drain the shells on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Spoon the seasoned chicken into each shell.
- Top with shredded cabbage, sour cream, jalapeño, and cilantro.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges.
