- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp milk
- Green food coloring
- Red sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F (175C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until fluffy.
- Mix in vanilla extract and salt.
- Gradually stir in flour until a dough forms.
- Chill dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Roll dough into small logs and shape into circles, pinching ends together.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are barely golden.
- Allow cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Whisk remaining powdered sugar, milk, and green coloring to create glaze.
- Dip cookies in glaze and immediately top with red sprinkles.
