- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 12 mini hot dogs
- 12 small strips of mozzarella cheese
- 12 thin slices of pepperoni
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons mustard or ketchup (for eyes)
- Parchment paper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle into three thin strips.
- Place one small strip of mozzarella and one slice of pepperoni onto each dough strip.
- Wrap the dough strip around a mini hot dog, leaving a small gap near the top for the eyes.
- Brush the top of each wrapped hot dog with the beaten egg wash.
- Place the mummy dogs on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes.
- Use mustard or ketchup to add two small dots for eyes in the gap of the wrapping.
