- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add rice and toast until golden brown, stirring frequently.
- Stir in minced garlic and cumin for 30 seconds.
- Add tomato sauce and stir to coat the rice.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover with a lid, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
